This is Kuramoto's first time designing tableware among his numerous works. The art direction is handled by graphic designer Rei Masaki. Through the perspective of Masaki, a Japanese-American who grew up in New York and has been active in Tokyo since 2017, the world of \"ALONGU\" is expressed in a borderless way, transcending nationalities.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMade from jujube wood, each piece is turned and carved by a skilled craftsman. Wood naturally has patterns such as \"knots\" and \"medullary rays\" that occur as the tree grows.
