While general chopsticks have a urethane coating on the surface, this product employs a "urethane impregnation coating" method where the urethane resin is impregnated directly into the wood itself, followed by a drying process. Urethane resin is a highly safe material also used in the finishing of lacquerware.

By repeating this impregnation process twice, we achieve excellent durability that makes daily care easy, without compromising the warm touch unique to natural wood.

We only sell products that have passed manufacturer inspections. However, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• Due to being finished by hand by artisans, there may be slight individual differences in color and size.
• Please use dish detergent and wash gently with a soft sponge or similar.
• Avoid soaking in water for long periods.
• After washing, wipe off moisture with a dry cloth and allow to air dry in a well-ventilated place (standing with the tips down can cause damage).
• Due to the product's characteristics, repeated wetting and drying may cause the chopsticks to warp.
• Due to various impacts (teeth, dishes, friction during washing, etc.), the lacquer, especially on the chopstick tips, may peel off, exposing the wood. Applying a thin layer of olive oil or vegetable oil can restore the shine.
