This is a physical store where you can actually pick up and view the Arita ware, Imari ware, Hasami ware, and other ceramics introduced in our online shop. Since opening in 2018, we have been delivering tableware and miscellaneous goods filled with the creators' passion from our base in Haruyoshi, Fukuoka.

The store name is pronounced "Studio Ikoro." It was named after our address, "Haruyoshi 1-15-6."

At Studio1156, we carefully select tableware from kilns and artists who carry on traditions from various regions, as well as manufacturers who cater to modern lifestyles, all through our unique perspective.

The store's displays and products change little by little every day, offering new sights and encounters with new creators each time you visit. Please come and experience the warmth of the clay and the beautiful glazes that cannot be fully conveyed through a screen.

Extend your visit beyond Tenjin and Hakata to explore the town of Haruyoshi

Our store is located in Haruyoshi, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, where traditional charm and modern culture pleasantly intersect. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Tenjin and Hakata areas, and also close to Yanagibashi Rengo Market and Sumiyoshi Shrine.

This is a quiet area, a little removed from the bustling city center, so please feel free to stop by during your sightseeing or stroll. You are sure to find a special piece that will become a memorable souvenir from your trip.

Access	5-minute walk from Watanabe-dori Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line There is no parking lot or bicycle parking. Please use nearby parking lots if you come by car.

4-5 minute walk (approx. 400m) from Exit 2 of Watanabe-dori Station on the Subway Nanakuma Line

🚌 If coming by bus (from Tenjin area)

4-5 minute walk (approx. 400m) from the "Watanabe-dori Itchome / Denki Building Kyosokan-mae" bus stop

With Gyomu Super in front and Watanabe-dori behind you, turn left and then turn right at the "Watanabe-dori Ekimae" intersection.

↓

Turn left at the end of the street, and if you continue further, you will see a gas station.

↓

Turn right onto the one-way street before the gas station.

↓

Continue straight, and Studio1156 will be on your right-hand side after the second traffic light.

1st traffic light: "Haruyoshi Koen-mae" intersection

2nd traffic light: "Haruyoshi Shogakko-mae" intersection

7-8 minute walk (approx. 500m) from the "Yanagibashi" bus stop

Proceed in the direction of the phone booth.

Turn right at the "Kiyokawa" intersection ahead.

Continue straight, then turn right at the second traffic light.

1st traffic light: "Haruyoshi Kominkan-mae" intersection

2nd traffic light: Turn right at "Haruyoshi Koen-mae" intersection

After turning right, continue straight with the park on your right. Studio1156 will be on your right-hand side after the next traffic light.
