HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With its simple and clean design, devoid of any ornamentation, and subdued colors, it enhances any food. All vessels can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller vessels can be nested inside larger ones. This not only eliminates wasted storage space but also allows for a variety of uses when stacked. Inspired by traditional Japanese tiered boxes, these vessels can be used individually or as a set in a wide range of situations.

About HASAMI PORCELAIN's inspection standards

While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• For Natural, there may be individual differences in color due to firing lot, weather, etc.
• Natural and Black have a rough surface, but the surface will become smoother with age.
• For Natural and Black, unevenness may occur due to the nature of the glaze.
• White material may appear mixed in with the pottery clay. This is removed from the surface and sides during inspection, and is considered a good product if found on the bottom.
• Even for product series with the same diameter, some items may not stack due to subtle shrinkage or distortion during firing.

There may be slight variations in color, pattern, and weight among individual products. Also, some products may have small black spots (iron specks) on the surface of the vessel or glaze drips, but this does not affect the quality.
