While most chopsticks have a urethane coating on their surface, this product uses a "urethane impregnation coating" method where the urethane resin is impregnated directly into the wood itself and then put through a drying process. Urethane resin is a highly safe material also used in the finishing of lacquerware.

By repeating this impregnation process three times, we achieve excellent durability that makes daily care easy, without compromising the warm, natural feel of the natural wood.

Inspection Standards and Points to Note for Natural Wood Chopsticks

We only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection; however, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• Due to the craftsmanship involved, there may be slight individual differences in color and size.
• Please use dishwashing detergent and gently wash with a soft sponge.
• Avoid prolonged soaking in water.
• After washing, wipe off moisture with a dry cloth and allow to air dry in a well-ventilated area (standing them with the tips down can cause damage).
• Due to the product's characteristics, repeated cycles of wetness and dryness may cause the chopsticks to warp.
