HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand spearheaded by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a clean, uncluttered design that eschews all ornamentation and comes in subdued colors, it enhances any food. All pieces can be stacked perfectly according to size, and smaller pieces can be nested inside larger ones. This not only eliminates wasted space when stored, but also allows for various uses when stacked. Inspired by stacked food boxes (jubako), these dishes can be used individually or as a set in a wide range of situations.

Regarding HASAMI PORCELAIN's inspection standards and points to note

We only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, but please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• For Natural, there may be individual differences in color due to factors such as firing lot and weather conditions.
• Natural and Black have a rough surface, but the surface will become smoother with age.
• Due to the nature of the glaze, Natural and Black may have unevenness.
• Tray Ash is made of natural wood, so there may be individual differences in color and wood grain.
• White material may appear mixed in with the clay. This is excluded during inspection for the surface and sides, but is considered acceptable for the bottom.
• Even within product series of the same diameter, some items may not stack due to subtle shrinkage or distortion during firing.
• The outer box may be removed for shipping depending on the packing situation.
