Zuiho Kiln Luxury Koshuhai (L) Rock Glass 300ml
Koshuhai are glasses developed with "aroma" as their theme by a group of Arita ware potters and shochu manufacturers, pursuing both design and functional beauty. You can enjoy the aroma more fully when the glass is filled to between half and seven-tenths of its capacity. The L size is suitable for beverages enjoyed in larger quantities, such as shochu or highballs. It is also recommended for coffee, Japanese tea, and black tea. By allowing the aroma to circulate within the vessel, you can experience a deeper aroma and taste. The constriction in the lower part provides a finger-hold, making it easy to grip and less likely to drop. Additionally, the rounded inner bottom makes it easy to stir with a muddler or spoon. The three-footed base prevents it from sticking to coasters.
Koshuhai Inspection Standards
While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:
- Due to all items being hand-painted by artisans, there may be individual differences in color intensity.
- Aurora items may have individual differences in color development due to significant color changes from kiln variations.
- For any other concerns, please contact us.
There may be slight variations in color, painting style, and weight between individual products. Also, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface of the vessel or glaze drips, but these do not indicate a quality issue.

An Imari-yaki tumbler with an incredibly thin build that allows light to pass through and a subtle curve that gently embraces the lips, transforming your daily drink into a moment of bliss.
The moment you pick it up, you'll be struck by its astonishing lightness of just 140g and its refined form that fits perfectly in your fingertips. Crafted by Hataman Touen, a renowned Imari-yaki kiln in Saga Prefecture, this tumbler is more than just a vessel for pouring drinks. Chilled beer, highballs with plenty of ice, or amber-colored cold tea – the refreshing clinking sound of ice the moment it's poured and the surprisingly smooth sensation when it touches your lips will transform your everyday dining table into a sophisticated scene reminiscent of a luxury lounge.
"Ultra-thin construction" that lets light through and a meticulously calculated, exquisite mouthfeel
Despite being porcelain, the thinnest construction that seems to softly let light through is the greatest charm of this tumbler. The rim is subtly curved, meticulously designed to gently embrace your lips as you tilt the glass. This delicate structure allows the fine foam of beer and the rich aroma of cold sake to reach your palate directly without obstruction, maximizing the potential of your drink.
Three distinct textures that delight your fingertips, varying by color
Another profound feature of this vessel is the ability to enjoy completely different "tactile sensations" depending on the color variation. "Joshiraji (white porcelain) / Olive" offers a lustrous, smooth gloss; "Kuro Matt (black matte)" provides a modern, silky texture that clings to the fingers; and "Hanmon (Mottled pattern) (Hanmon / Midorihanmon / Aohanmon)" delivers a rough texture that conveys the power of the earth. Not only is the visual beauty considered, but the tactile sensation when cradled in both hands is also designed, changing the pleasure you experience with each color you choose.
The craftsmanship of the renowned kiln "Hataman Touen" and practical utility for everyday life
While showcasing the undeniable craftsmanship of "Hataman Touen," which inherits the tradition and elegance of Imari-yaki into the modern era, it also doesn't forget the perspective of everyday life. With a capacity of 350ml when full, it's the perfect size for cold sake with ice or daily tea. While it has a delicate side, being unsuitable for dishwashers and microwaves, its presence is so endearing that even the time spent gently hand-washing it with a sponge becomes precious. Since it is freezer-safe, you can chill the vessel thoroughly beforehand, allowing for a practical yet supremely luxurious way to use it.
With the aesthetic sense of traditional Imari-yaki, it features a sleek, minimalist design that effortlessly blends into modern lifestyles. The craftsmanship felt with every touch to the lips elevates the simple act of quenching your thirst into a blissful experience to be savored with all five senses. It is truly an exceptional item that you can confidently present as a reward for yourself, or as a thoughtful gift for someone special who appreciates genuine quality.
Recommended for:
- Those who want to elevate the taste of their evening beer, highball, or cold sake by upgrading their vessel.
- Those who value the extremely thin rim and the pleasant sensation when it touches their lips.
- Those who prioritize the "comfort of the five senses" when holding an item, including visual and tactile aspects.
- Those who wish to present a gift with the story of a historic, renowned kiln to a loved one.
There may be slight variations in color, painted finish, and weight for each individual product. Additionally, some products may have small black dots (iron powder) visible on the surface or glaze drips, but these do not indicate a quality issue.

1616-aritajapan Round Plate Gray / TY Round Plate Plain Gray
Traditional Japanese tableware is generally made in increments of 3cm, as it is based on traditional Japanese measurements. A key appeal of this series is its design, unconstrained by traditional Japanese tableware sizing.
1616/arita japan is an Arita ware brand series launched with creative director Teruhiro Yanagihara and Dutch designers Scholten & Baijings. Its geometric design is versatile for any use or occasion, with a simple yet minimalist appeal. The white version is slightly smaller and lighter than the gray.
Regarding 1616 / Arita Japan's Inspection Standards and Points to Note
While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:
- Even within product series of the same diameter, there may be individual differences in size due to subtle shrinkage and distortion during firing.
- Fine black spots (iron powder) may appear due to reactions with iron content in the clay during firing.
- There may be individual differences in color due to factors like clay composition and weather conditions during firing.
- As these items are fired without glaze and thus lack a protective coating, we recommend washing them promptly after use.
- For stains on the surface, gently scrub with a melamine sponge.
- If you have any other concerns, please contact us.

Arita Ware Koraku Kiln Gold and Silver Glaze Gourd-Shaped Mini Dish 9.5cm (Amber Glaze / White Porcelain)
Bring "good fortune" to your table. A modern gourd-shaped mini dish with a shimmering gold and silver glaze, crafted by Arita Ware's Koraku Kiln.
This Arita Ware mini dish features a gourd motif, which has long been cherished by the Japanese as a lucky charm for warding off disasters and inviting good fortune due to its expanding shape.
Measuring a compact 9.5cm that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, its plump, adorable form and the vibrant gold and silver glazes applied to it exude an exceptionally elegant presence on the dining table.
The Contrast of Sophisticated "Matte Texture" and "Sparkle"
The surface of the dish has a high-quality, "matte and smooth" texture that feels comfortable in the hand. It is precisely this calm base texture that allows the gold and silver decorations on the rim and center to stand out elegantly without being overly flashy. The deep amber color (amber glaze) brings a Japanese warmth, while the translucent white porcelain presents a modern and dignified look.
Each Meticulously Handcrafted Piece, a Source of Pride for Koraku Kiln, a Renowned Transferware Kiln
Koraku Kiln is highly renowned among Arita Ware for its advanced "transfer" technique. The beautiful gold and silver patterns applied to this product are also meticulously hand-transferred by Koraku Kiln's artisans, one by one.
Applying transfers to uneven surfaces with curves and undulations, such as this gourd shape, without wrinkles or misalignment, requires a highly skilled hand. The balanced and dignified finish breathes life into the precise craftsmanship characteristic of a renowned kiln.
Versatile Practicality for Special Occasions and Everyday Use
The auspicious combination of "gourd shape x gold and silver glaze" is perfect for osechi ryori during New Year's or for special celebrations. In daily use, it serves wonderfully as a soy sauce dish for sashimi, a condiment holder, or a small dish for salt and spices. It's an incredibly versatile piece that blends seamlessly not only with Japanese cuisine but also with Western table settings like French and Italian.
While typical gold-glazed dishes are not microwave-safe, this product uses a special gold and silver glaze made from mica and other raw materials, allowing it to be reheated in the microwave.
It overturns the perception that "gold-glazed dishes are difficult to handle," offering practical appeal that aligns with modern lifestyles. You can use it without hesitation not only for special occasions like New Year's but also for everyday dining.
*To maintain its beautiful shimmer for a long time, we recommend gentle hand washing rather than using a dishwasher.

Toetsu Kiln Arita Ware Three-Compartment Plate, Divided Plate 17.5cm [3 Patterns]
Toetsu Kiln, while rooted in 400 years of Arita ware history, has earned high acclaim both domestically and internationally for its unique glaze expressions and modern designs.
Among the many divided plates available, this "Three-Compartment Divided Plate" is one that we confidently recommend. It embodies the aesthetic sensibilities of Toetsu Kiln and a thoughtful consideration for everyday use. The surface has a matte, smooth texture that suppresses roughness. Despite its luxurious feel, it is easy to handle, and its lightness—which doesn't burden you when serving or washing dishes—is an excellent feature for a vessel used daily.
Exquisite Practicality
When selecting divided plates, as a specialty store, we always check the "depth of the compartments." This plate has a height of approximately 2.8cm, ensuring ample depth in each space. Therefore, even if you serve "soy sauce" for sashimi, "sauce and lemon juice" for yakiniku, or "ohitashi with a lot of liquid," you don't have to worry about liquids flowing into adjacent compartments and mixing flavors.
Please read before purchasing (Regarding the "individuality" of the ware)
While we only sell genuine products that have passed manufacturer inspections, due to the nature of handmade ceramics, this product has the following unique characteristics. We hope you will welcome it as a one-of-a-kind "scenery" not found in industrial products.
- This product features beautiful gold and silver embellishments applied by skilled artisans. Therefore, please refrain from using it in a microwave or oven.
- Please avoid using a dishwasher. Gently hand wash with a soft sponge to preserve the brilliance of the gold and silver and the texture of the black for a long time.
- Due to the glaze (black yuzu glaze) which develops color through kiln changes, there are individual differences in the finish of the glaze surface.
- Due to hand-painting by artisans, there are individual differences such asかすれ (fading/streaks) in the decorated parts (gold and silver).
- You may see tiny black dots (iron spots) on the surface of the ware, or glaze drips and pooling, but these are not quality issues.
- For any other concerns, please contact us.
Whether Japanese or Western, just serving makes for a "restaurant presentation"
The L size, W13.5cm x L17.5cm, is an exquisite size that beautifully fills the empty space on your table. The two metallic variations, "Kurogurokin" (Deep Black Gold) and "Kurogurogin" (Deep Black Silver), vividly enhance the colors of your ingredients.
- For snacks or appetizers: Just by placing three different appetizers such as nuts, cheese, sashimi, or delicacies, you can create an "omotenashi dish" reminiscent of a high-end Japanese restaurant or modern eatery.
