Zuiho Kiln Luxury Koshuhai (S) 130ml

Koshuhai are glasses developed with "aroma" as their theme by a group of volunteer Arita ware kilns and shochu manufacturers, pushing design and functional beauty to their limits. You can experience the aroma more deeply when the cup is filled to half to 70% of its capacity. The S size is suitable for beverages enjoyed in small quantities, such as sake, whiskey, and brandy. It is also recommended for coffee, Japanese tea, and black tea. By allowing the aroma to circulate within the vessel, both the aroma and flavor are felt more deeply. The constriction in the lower part provides a finger-hold, making it easy to grip and less likely to drop. Additionally, the inside bottom is rounded, making it easy to stir with a muddler or spoon. The three-footed base design makes it less likely to stick to coasters.

ALONGU Yunomi Tea Cup 9cm

The brand name "ALONGU" was chosen to reflect our desire to appreciate the current state of Japanese cuisine, which incorporates diverse nationalities and regional characteristics, and to explore tableware that foreshadows the future of Japanese cuisine. By intentionally adding "U" to "ALONG" to represent a Japanese Romanization, and combining it with the kanji "明論具", the brand expresses that it offers tableware that embraces the diverse contemporary dining scene where nationalities intersect, while also signifying that the pottery is made in Japan.

The designer is Jin Kuramoto, a product designer known for projects such as HAY's "KNIT," arflex Japan's "JK," and home appliances like audio-technica's wireless earphones. This is Kuramoto's first venture into tableware among his numerous product designs. The art direction is handled by graphic designer Rei Masaki. Growing up in New York and working in Tokyo since 2017, Masaki's perspective as a Japanese-American expresses the world of "ALONGU" as transnational and borderless.

The ALONGU series aims to revolutionize the perception of porcelain products as having uniform finishes. To allow customers to enjoy the unique individuality and subtle variations of the materials, the series is meticulously crafted with glazes and finishes that offer a wide range of expression.

We only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection. However, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• "Yakishime" products are fired at high temperatures without glaze, so individual differences in black spots and color may occur on the surface depending on weather conditions during firing. Also, oil stains may appear if left for a long time after use.
• "Fuchisabi" products have an iron-based glaze applied to the rim, and individual differences in color may occur depending on weather conditions during firing.
• "Seiji" products may have glaze pooling due to the glazing process, and individual differences in color may occur depending on weather conditions during firing.
• "Tenmoku" products use a delicate glaze created by crystalline components, so individual differences in color may occur depending on weather conditions during firing.
• Because we actively use glazes with rich expressions, products with small dots or unevenness are considered good quality.

This is a ceramic clock made from Mino ware by "SUGY," a brand developed by Sugiura Seito, a tile manufacturer located in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture. This table clock is made using the same "press molding" manufacturing method as tiles. It was named "Colon:" after its cute, rounded shape. It is unglazed, allowing you to appreciate the matte texture of the clay itself. Additionally, the absence of glaze beautifully highlights the sharp edges characteristic of press molding. *The movement comes with a 1-year warranty.

The movement uses a "sweep type" (continuous second hand), so the second hand is silent. Since there are only hour and minute hands, there is no second hand.

HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand created by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a pure and simple design that eliminates all ornamentation and subdued colors, it enhances the beauty of any food. All vessels can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller vessels can be nested inside larger ones. This not only eliminates wasted space during storage but also allows for various uses when stacked. Inspired by traditional Japanese tiered boxes (jubako), these vessels can be used freely in a wide range of situations, both individually and as a set.

*The Natural (HP029) is currently out of production, and there are no plans for restock.
