To address concerns like "Won't a thin rim chip easily?", we conducted washing and stacking tests in our store. While the rim is finished thinly, being a hard, vitrified porcelain unique to Arita ware, it possesses sufficient strength to withstand daily microwave use and continuous washing in a dishwasher. Furthermore, thanks to the smooth, high-quality gloss glaze, oil and dashi stains rinse off easily with water, and it dries exceptionally well. When stored, the footring securely interlocks, allowing several pieces to be stacked without wobbling, a space-saving design.
