HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand created by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With its clean, minimalist design and subdued colors, it enhances the beauty of any food. All pieces can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller pieces can be nested inside larger ones. This not only makes storage efficient but also allows for various uses when stacked. Inspired by traditional Japanese stacked boxes (jubako), these dishes can be used freely in a wide range of situations, whether individually or as a set.

About HASAMI PORCELAIN Inspection Standards

We only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection. However, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• For "Natural," there may be individual differences in color due to firing lot or weather conditions.
• "Natural" and "Black" have a rough surface initially, but it will become smoother with age.
• For "Natural" and "Black," unevenness may occur due to the properties of the glaze.
• White material mixed in with the ceramic clay may appear. We exclude products with this on the surface or sides during inspection; it is considered a good quality product if it appears on the bottom.
• Even within the same product series with the same diameter, some items may not stack perfectly due to slight shrinkage or distortion during firing.

There may be slight differences in color, painting texture, and weight among individual products. Also, some products may have small black spots (iron powder) on the surface or glaze drips, but this does not affect the quality.
