This is a silky, smooth-textured vessel. Fukuju Kiln, using its unique glaze that recreates the blend from the Edo period, carries on the free-spirited style of early Imari ware into the modern age. Its soft-colored sometsuke (underglaze blue) and moist glaze texture create gentle and profound tableware. Furthermore, in a region where division of labor is common, Fukuju Kiln has an integrated production system within its own company, allowing it to pursue detailed forms even at the clay stage. This project brings together various unique kilns in the region, inheriting 400 years of history while developing new Arita ware called "ARITA PLUS."
