HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand from Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a clean, simple design that eliminates all ornamentation and muted colors, it enhances any food. All vessels can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller vessels can be nested inside larger ones. This not only eliminates waste during storage but also allows them to be used for various purposes when stacked. This concept was inspired by jūbako (tiered boxes), and the vessels can be used freely in a wide range of situations, either individually or as a set.

About HASAMI PORCELAIN's quality inspection standards

We only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, but please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• For Natural, there may be individual differences in color due to the firing lot, weather, etc. during firing.
• Natural and Black have a rough surface, but the surface will become smoother over time.
• For Natural and Black, unevenness may occur due to the characteristics of the glaze.
• White material may appear mixed in with the ceramic clay. This is excluded during inspection for the surface and sides, and is considered a good product for the bottom.
• Even for product series with the same diameter, some items may not stack due to subtle shrinkage or distortion during firing.

There may be slight differences in color, painting style, and weight between individual products. In addition, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface of the vessel or glaze drips, but this does not affect the quality.
