HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand from Tokyo Saikai Touki, a long-established wholesaler of Hasami ware, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a clean, uncluttered design that omits all ornamentation and comes in muted colors, these bowls enhance any food. All bowls can be stacked perfectly according to their size, and smaller bowls can be nested inside larger ones. This not only eliminates waste during storage but also allows them to be used for various purposes when stacked. Inspired by traditional Japanese tiered food boxes (jubako), these bowls can be used freely for a wide range of occasions, either individually or as a set.

About HASAMI PORCELAIN's Inspection Standards

While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• For Natural, there may be individual differences in color due to firing lot, weather, etc.
• Natural and Black products have a rough surface, but this will become smoother with age.
• For Natural and Black, glaze unevenness may occur due to the nature of the glaze.
• White material may appear mixed in with the ceramic clay. We remove items with this on the surface or sides during inspection, but it is considered acceptable on the bottom.
• Even with product series of the same diameter, some items may not stack perfectly due to slight expansion or distortion during firing.

Individual products may vary slightly in color, pattern, and weight. Also, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface or glaze drips, but this does not affect their quality.
