HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand created by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a clean, uncluttered design that eliminates all ornamentation and muted colors, it enhances any food. All pieces can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller pieces can be nested within larger ones. This not only eliminates waste during storage but also allows for various uses when stacked. Inspired by traditional tiered food boxes, these dishes can be used freely for a wide range of occasions, both individually and as a set.

*The Natural (HP037) color is currently out of production, so there are no plans for restocking at this time.

HASAMI PORCELAIN Inspection Standards

While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• Natural may have individual differences in color due to firing lots, weather conditions, etc.
• Natural and Black have a rough surface, but this will become smoother with age.
• Natural and Black may have unevenness due to the characteristics of the glaze.
• White material may appear mixed in with the pottery clay. This is removed during inspection on the surface and sides, but is considered good on the bottom.
• Even within product series of the same diameter, some items may not stack due to subtle shrinkage or warping during firing.

Individual products may vary slightly in color, pattern, and weight. Additionally, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface or glaze drips, but this does not affect the quality.
