HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand created by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a clean, uncluttered design that omits all ornamentation and calm colors, it enhances any food. All vessels can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller vessels can be nested inside larger ones. This not only eliminates waste during storage but also allows for various uses when stacked. Inspired by traditional Japanese tiered boxes, these vessels can be used freely in a wide range of situations, either individually or as a set.

About HASAMI PORCELAIN's Inspection Standards

While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• Natural products may vary in color depending on the firing lot, weather, etc., during firing.
• Natural and Black products have a rough surface initially, but they become smoother with age.
• Natural and Black products may have unevenness due to the characteristics of the glaze.
• White material may appear mixed in with the pottery clay. While this is removed during inspection for the surface and sides, it is considered acceptable for the bottom.
• Even within product series of the same diameter, some items may not stack perfectly due to slight expansion or distortion during firing.

Each product may vary slightly in color, pattern, and weight. Additionally, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface or glaze drips, but these do not affect the quality.
