HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand created by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a clean, simple design free of any ornamentation and muted colors, it enhances any dish. All pieces can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller pieces can be nested inside larger ones. Not only does this optimize storage, but stacking also allows for various uses. This design was inspired by traditional Japanese tiered boxes, making the pieces versatile for use individually or as a set in a wide range of situations.

About HASAMI PORCELAIN Inspection Standards and Points to Note

While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• Natural products may have individual differences in color due to firing lot, weather conditions, etc.
• Natural and Black products have a rough surface, but they will become smoother with age.
• Natural and Black products may have unevenness due to the nature of the glaze.
• Tray Lids are made of natural wood, so there will be individual differences in color and wood grain.
• White materials may appear mixed in with the clay. These are removed from the surface and sides during inspection; those on the bottom are considered acceptable.
• Even within product series of the same diameter, some items may not stack perfectly due to subtle shrinkage or distortion during firing.
• The outer box may be removed for shipping purposes.
