HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a clean and simple design devoid of any ornamentation and subdued colors, it enhances the appearance of any food. All vessels can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller vessels can be nested inside larger ones. This not only eliminates waste during storage but also allows for various uses when stacked. Inspired by traditional tiered food boxes (jubako), these vessels can be used freely in a wide range of situations, either individually or as a set.

About HASAMI PORCELAIN's quality control standards

While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• For Natural, there may be individual differences in color due to the firing lot, weather conditions, etc.
• For Natural and Black, the surface has a rough texture, but it will become smoother with age.
• For Natural and Black, unevenness may occur due to the characteristics of the glaze.
• White material may appear mixed in with the ceramic clay. This is removed during inspection for the surface and sides, and is considered a good product for the bottom.
• Even within product series of the same diameter, some items may not stack due to slight shrinkage or distortion during firing.

There may be slight differences in color, pattern, and weight between individual products. Also, some products may have small black spots (iron particles) on the surface or glaze drips, but these do not affect the quality.
