HASAMI PORCELAIN is an innovative Hasami ware brand created by Tokyo Saikai Toki, a long-established Hasami ware wholesaler, with Takuhiro Shinomoto (tortoise) as creative director. With a pure, clean design devoid of any ornamentation and calm colors, it enhances any food. All vessels can be perfectly stacked by size, and smaller vessels can be nested inside larger ones. This not only eliminates waste during storage but also allows for various uses when stacked. Inspired by traditional Japanese stacked boxes (jubako), these vessels can be used individually or as a set for a wide range of occasions.

About HASAMI PORCELAIN's Quality Control Standards

While we only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's quality inspection, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• For "Natural," there may be individual differences in color due to firing batches, weather conditions, etc.
• For "Natural" and "Black," the surface is rough, but it will become smoother over time.
• For "Natural" and "Black," due to the nature of the glaze, irregularities may occur.
• White material may appear mixed in with the ceramic clay. This is excluded during inspection for the surface and sides, but it is considered a good quality product for the bottom.
• Even within product series of the same diameter, some items may not stack perfectly due to subtle shrinkage or distortion during firing.

Individual products may vary slightly in color, pattern texture, and weight. Additionally, some products may have small black dots (iron particles) on the surface or glaze drips, but these do not affect the quality.
