Maruhiro Soba Choko Encyclopedia HEAVEN&EARTH Soba Choko 170ml

Each pattern features overglaze transfer printing applied on a base with different clay and glaze. The organic beauty that was not achievable with conventional overglaze transfer printing is realized through the highly skilled techniques of artisans. Enjoy the hybrid expression of pottery.

Available in 4 patterns: STRATUM, EARTH, ROCK, and CLOUD. Can be used as a cup for beer or coffee, or as a small storage container.

About the Inspection Standards and Important Notes for HEAVEN & EARTH Soba Choko

We only sell products that have passed the manufacturer's inspection. However, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

  • Only CLOUD is made of earthenware, not porcelain, so we recommend "sealing" it before first use. Please dry it thoroughly before storing.
  • STRATUM has individual differences in the crack pattern on its surface.
  • Due to the nature of the clay, ROCK may have chips or small holes in the paint of the transfer paper.
  • The outer box may be removed for shipping purposes, depending on the packaging.
