Sometsuke Calendar Pattern Soba Choko (Large) 220ml

This is a large soba choko from the Riso Kiln series, representing modern Arita ware. It is a reproduction of an antique that once existed, a soba choko in the Ko-Imari style. It is called "暦文" (reki-mon, calendar pattern) because it resembles a calendar filled with fine characters. The rim features a "shihotasukimon" (four-way sash pattern), and the base has a "janome-koudai" (snake-eye base), which is highly popular in Ko-Imari ware. There are many different designs, making them highly popular as collectibles, but they can also be used for coffee, as sake cups, or as food dishes.

Please note that individual products may vary slightly in color, painting style, and weight. Also, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface of the vessel or glaze drips, but these do not affect the quality.
