Riso Kiln Sometsuke Crane Circle Mon Soba Choko (Large) 220ml

This is the large size of the soba choko series from Riso Kiln, a leading Arita ware kiln of today. It is a reproduction of an antique that once existed, a soba choko in the Ko-Imari style. Cranes have long been a symbol of longevity, so they are depicted as an auspicious motif. The foot rim features a "snake-eye foot rim," which was popular in Ko-Imari ware. While there are many patterns, making them highly popular for collections, they can also be used for coffee, sake, or as a serving dish.

Individual products may vary slightly in color, painting texture, and weight. In addition, some products may have small black dots (iron powder) or glaze drips on the surface, but this does not affect the quality.
