Sometsuke Octopus Arabesque Grid Soba Choko (Large) 220ml

This is the large size from the soba choko series by Riso Kiln, a leading contemporary Arita ware producer. This is a reproduction of an Old Imari antique, with a soba choko featuring an auspicious octopus arabesque pattern finished in a checkered design. The rim features a Shikata-tasuki pattern, and the bottom has the "Janome-kodai" (snake-eye foot), which was very popular in Old Imari. There are many different designs, making them highly popular collectibles, but they can also be used for coffee, sake, or as small bowls for food.

Please note that individual products may vary slightly in color, painting style, and weight. Additionally, some products may have small black spots (iron particles) on the surface of the vessel or glaze drips, but this does not affect the quality.
