Sometsuke Octopus Arabesque Hoju-mon Soba Choko (Large) 220ml

This is the large size of the soba choko series from Risogama, which represents modern Aritayaki. This soba choko is a reproduction of antique Ko-Imari ware that once existed, based on actual pieces. It features a well-balanced design with Hoju-mon (treasure jewel motif), which is a stylized form of treasure, and octopus arabesque, often called Kaen Hoju-mon (flaming treasure jewel motif) because it is surrounded by flames. The base features the "Janome Kodai," a popular type of foot ring in Ko-Imari. While popular as a collection item due to its many designs, it can also be used for coffee, sake, or as a dish for food.

Please note that individual products may vary slightly in color, painting style, and weight. Also, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface of the ware or glaze drips, but these do not affect the quality.
