Riso Kiln Iroe Ruri-ji Ume-mon Soba Choko (Large) 220ml

This is the large size of the soba choko series from Riso Kiln, a leading contemporary Arita ware producer. These soba choko are reproductions of antique Imari ware, based on existing artifacts. The elegant design features a beautiful golden plum pattern against a light lapis lazuli blue background. The rim is adorned with a arabesque pattern, and the bottom features the "Janome Kōdai" (snake-eye footring) which was popular in old Imari. While highly popular as collector's items due to the many available patterns, they can also be used for coffee, sake, or as small bowls for food.

Please note that individual products may vary slightly in color, painting texture, and weight. Also, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface of the vessel or glaze drips, but this does not affect the quality.
