The "unimet" brand was born from the precision machining technology cultivated over many years by "Ishibashi Tekkosho" in Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and the hands of designer Manabu Takasu (TGDA), who is active both in Japan and internationally. This beautiful stainless steel cutlery rest was created by them as they pursue new possibilities for metal.

What is particularly noteworthy is its exquisite size of 12cm. Because it is designed to be longer than a typical chopstick rest, it beautifully accommodates not only Western styling with knives and forks arranged side-by-side, but also "Wayo-secchu" (Japanese-Western fusion) settings common in modern Japanese dining, such as "chopsticks and a spoon" or "chopsticks and a fork."

The delicate motifs expressed through laser processing soften the sharp coolness peculiar to metal, adding an elegant and warm nuance to the table. The surface has a gloss (smooth) finish, which elegantly reflects light and enhances the tableware.
