While general chopsticks have a urethane coating on the surface, this product uses "urethane impregnated coating," a process where the urethane resin is directly impregnated into the wood itself and then dried. Urethane resin is a highly safe material also used in the finishing of lacquerware.

By repeating this impregnation process three times, we achieve excellent durability that makes daily care easy, without compromising the warm, natural feel of the wood.

About inspection standards and points to note for natural wood chopsticks

We only sell products that have passed manufacturer inspections. However, please be aware of the following product characteristics:

• Due to hand-finishing by artisans, there may be slight individual differences in color and size.
• Please wash gently with dish soap and a soft sponge.
• Avoid prolonged soaking in water.
• After washing, wipe off moisture with a dry cloth and allow to air dry in a well-ventilated place (do not stand with the tips down, as this can cause damage).
• Due to the nature of the product, repeated wetting and drying may cause the chopsticks to warp.
