Koshuhai are glasses developed with a focus on "aroma" by volunteers from Arita ware potteries and shochu manufacturers, pursuing both design and functional beauty. You can appreciate the aroma more when using them filled between half to 70% of their capacity. The S size is suitable for drinks that are enjoyed in small sips, such as sake, whisky, and brandy. It is also recommended for coffee, Japanese tea, and black tea. By allowing the aroma to circulate within the vessel, both the aroma and taste can be experienced more deeply. The constriction in the lower part provides a good grip, making it easy to hold and less likely to drop. Additionally, the rounded inner bottom makes it easy to stir with a muddler or spoon. The three-footed base prevents it from sticking to coasters.
