Additionally, Kishogama's unique warm, matte glaze is used, maximizing the aesthetic of Ko-Imari ware.

The handle is made by Kishogama, a kiln specializing in "recreating Ko-Imari." Among their notable works is "Usururi Soro," which reproduces the "phantom technique" of thin russet glaze. It recreates the pattern and texture of the "Sometsuke Shirasagizu Sankyaku-zara," which is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan, in a new form.

The bristles were made by Chikuhodo, a world-renowned brush workshop. This luxurious shaving brush uses a greater quantity of bristles than usual. The bristle material is badger hair. Later, the area covered by karakusa expanded, and it came to be depicted across entire surfaces. This motif became popular in the 18th century. The delicate and elegant karakusa, featuring petals regularly arranged on swirling leaves, combines gentleness and strength.
