The peony, with its majestic and noble presence, has long been cherished for its overwhelming beauty. Utilizing the skilled technique of sumi-hajiki (ink-resist dyeing), dynamic waves are depicted, beautifully highlighting the opulent peonies.
The brush handle was crafted by Hataman Touen, a leading producer of Imari-Nabeshima ware. The magnificent Nabeshima brand, born from sophisticated brushwork, is truly captivating.
The brush head was crafted by Chikuhodo, a world-renowned brush atelier. The bristles are a blend of 50% "Sokouho," the highest quality goat hair, and 50% gray squirrel, which is exceptionally smooth to the touch. This exquisite balance results in a moderate firmness and a soft touch.
Individual product colors, painting styles, and weights may vary slightly. Additionally, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface of the pottery or glaze runs, but these do not affect the quality.
