This is a 18cm HAZE bowl, part of an innovative series from Kichiemon Gama, an Arita ware kiln boasting over 400 years of tradition.

Its most distinctive feature is the unique "awagesho" (foam glaze) technique applied to its surface. The delicate, bubble-like texture creates soft shadows depending on the angle of light, beautifully accentuating your food.

While we only sell genuine products that have passed manufacturer inspections, due to the nature of handcrafted pottery, this product may have the following individual characteristics. We hope you will appreciate these as unique "scenery" not found in mass-produced items.

• Extremely small black spots (iron particles) may be visible on the surface of the vessel, or there may be drips or pooling of glaze, but these do not indicate a quality issue.
