Sometsuke Sansui Makeup Brush 7.6cm
Approximately 400 years ago, the first domestic porcelain was born in Arita, with China serving as the model for ceramic techniques and designs. Among these, the commonly seen sansui (landscape) painting, which is believed to ward off evil thoughts and demons, is a frequently used motif in Ko-Imari ware. You can enjoy the sansui painting by rotating the makeup brush 360 degrees.
The handle was produced by "Fukusen-gama," representing contemporary Arita ware. It features warm, hand-painted designs meticulously crafted one by one by skilled artisans.
The brush head was produced by "Chikuhodo," a brush studio recognized worldwide. The bristles are made from 100% "Sokouho," the highest grade of goat hair, offering a good balance of resilience and a soft touch.
Please note that individual products may slightly vary in color, painting style, and weight. Additionally, some products may have small black dots (iron particles) on the surface of the pottery or glaze drips, but these do not indicate a defect in quality.
