Sometsuke Twisted Pattern Cosmetic Brush 7.6cm

The twisted pattern features three designs: "Sakura" (cherry blossom), "Tako-Karakusa" (octopus arabesque), and "Sha-Hishigata" (sheer diamond). All are auspicious patterns, expressed here as a single "changed picture." The "fukizumi" (blown ink) technique is applied in various places to create the aesthetic of old Imari ware. The plum blossom subtly placed on the base is a stylish touch.

The brush handle was crafted by "Fukusen Kiln," a leading representative of contemporary Arita ware. It is characterized by its warm, hand-painted decoration, meticulously finished one by one by skilled artisans.

The brush head was produced by "Chikuhodo," a brush studio recognized worldwide. The bristles are made from 100% "Sokouhou," the highest grade of goat hair, known for its moderate firmness and soft touch.

Please note that individual products may vary slightly in color, painting style, and weight. Additionally, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface of the vessel or glaze drips, but these do not affect the quality.
