Arita town is a place where the first porcelain product was fired in Japan.

The production of Arita porcelain is based on division of labour, performed by highly-skilled master craftsmen on each step.

Arita products actually require seven companies to be presented in a market, and we are on the last step to make great encounters with them and customers.   

This event is a huge annual ceramic fair which is held during the annual public holiday, Golden Week (29^th April - 5^th May), in Arita, when about 600 stores and stalls open for business around the 4km-long main street.
