Riso Kiln Hakuji Blast Shinogi Teacup & Saucer 200ml
This teacup and saucer, with its refined and modern appearance, is crafted by Riso Kiln, a renowned Arita ware pottery.
The most significant appeal of this ware lies in its "texture contrast," which truly surprises you upon touching it.
The outer surface of the cup and the surface of the saucer, which come into contact with your hands, are sandblasted, giving them an exquisitely elegant and smooth matte texture, reminiscent of fine silk or finely textured unglazed pottery. In contrast, the inner surface, where beverages and lips touch, is finished with a lustrous glaze (gloss finish), making it smooth and sleek. This contrast beautifully enhances the color of the tea and, at the same time, is practical as it prevents tea stains from adhering easily. This is a functional beauty that we, as a specialty shop, confidently recommend.
The "shinogi" (fluting) pattern on the surface of the ware truly shines when it catches the light. Precisely because of the matte surface created by the blasting process, the light is softly diffused, creating a sculptural, deeply refined shadow on the table that goes beyond mere "white."
With a full capacity of 200ml, it's perfect for leisurely enjoying your everyday coffee, black tea, or herbal tea. While exuding the crisp elegance characteristic of porcelain, it's also microwave and dishwasher safe, making it a reliable staple for daily life, not just for special occasions.
Individual products may vary slightly in color, pattern, and weight. Also, some products may have small black dots (iron spots) on the surface or glaze drips, but this does not affect the quality.

Riso Kiln Sometsuke Nejiri Jimon Gourd-Shaped Tokkuri 260ml
The greatest appeal of this tokkuri is the exquisite "hand-painted decoration" by skilled artisans. At a time when printed and transferred wares are becoming more common, the "nejiri jimon" (twisted pattern) is meticulously hand-painted onto the beautifully plump curved surface of the "hyotan" (gourd), which has long been considered a good luck charm.
The deep coloration created by the overglaze and underglaze, and the brushstrokes that clearly convey the artisan's touch, give it an overwhelming presence and warmth unique to handmade items. The smooth and glossy texture of the porcelain is also pleasant, making it an impeccable item for celebratory occasions or for entertaining important guests.

Koransha mono-P Dining Pendant (for hooking ceiling)
"mono-P" was born from the advanced techniques cultivated by Koransha and Kakishita Mokuzai Kogyosho respectively. The shade is made of white porcelain. The product design was handled by lighting designer Tatsuya Shibuya.

Founded in 1879, Koransha is a leading Arita ware manufacturer that operates three businesses, from art pieces to insulator products and new ceramic products. It has received numerous honorable gold medals at international expositions around the world. It has also gained high acclaim overseas and was honored to be appointed purveyor to the Imperial Household Ministry in 1896, a distinction it holds to this day.
About MOARE
In 1957, Kakishita Mokuzai Kogyosho was founded in Hida Takayama, a lumber processing region. Since then, it has been manufacturing warm wooden lighting for half a century. Inheriting the traditional spirit and techniques cultivated by the Hida no Takumi, the original wooden lighting brand "MOARE" was born in 2007.

回収詳細
Arita ware is a general term for ceramics produced in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, and its surrounding areas. In 1616, the potter Ri Sampei discovered white porcelain stone in what is now Arita Town and began producing porcelain for the first time in Japan. In the 1600s, porcelain made in Arita was exported overseas from Imari Port, leading to Arita ware also being known as "Imari ware" or simply "IMARI."
At our shop, we use different names depending on the place of origin: "Arita ware" for ceramics fired in the current Arita Town, "Imari ware" for those from Imari City, "Hasami ware" for those from Hasami Town, and "Hizen Yoshida ware" for those from Ureshino Town.
